Menorca is the second largest of the Balearic islands and is smaller and quieter than its neighbour Majorca. Situated just 34 km / 21 miles from Mallorca, the island has many family-friendly resorts and almost as many beaches as Majorca and Ibiza combined.
Red sandstone and rugged cliffs give way to secluded coves and sedate waters. Lush green countryside is home to olive groves and orchards. Narrow cobbled streets tumble down to quaint fishing harbours. Summer holidays to Menorca really are as idyllic as they sound...
Whether you are looking to book an all inclusive holiday to Menorca or snap up a late deal, we have just what you need. Travel to Menorca and experience an unhurried pace of life that you'll never want to leave behind. You'll soon see why people return here year after year.
Cala'n Forcat is considered to be Menorca's liveliest resort. You'll still find cheap snack bars, English theme pubs and karaoke dens, but it's a lot more low-key resort in comparison with its bustling Balearic neighbour, Majorca. Whether you are family looking for a resort with lots to keep the kids happy, or a couple in search of sun and sand, holidays in Cala'n Forcat would be more than ideal. Children will love the bouncy castles, aqua park and trampolines, whilst couples are sure to enjoy stretching out on the bathing platforms by day and then hitting the bars by night. Cala'n Forcat is also a great base from which to explore the rest of the west coast.

offers a slice of picture-perfect Menorcan life, with a good range of facilities and a great soft sand beach, the resort easily has the best beaches along the coastline. The resort's good range of shops are enticing enough, offering everything you'd need for your package holiday to Cala n Blanes, but, should you seek bigger thrills, the nightlife and pace of life is slightly quicker at neighbouring Cala'n Forcat.

- a busy little resort in Menorca's sunny southwest which boasts turquoise waters and silky sands - a perfect resort for a laid back holiday. Cala'n Bosch could be considered as a little more upmarket than most Menorcan resorts due to it's impressive yachts and beachfront bars. Catering mostly for families, the resort's evening mix of entertainment doesn't become too hectic but can become livelier than other spots along the coastline.

Cala Galdana holidays can be as lazy or as active as you desire. It offers one of the most picturesque coves in the western Mediterranean with it's wide sweeping bay that is protected by high cliffs and shaded by pine trees - a place to retreat if the high temperatures get a little too much. Cala Galdana also offers a wide choice of activities such as boat trips, mini golf and cycling, not forgetting shopping, eating and drinking! The beach has been awarded Community ‘Blue Flag' for it's safe bathing, however the kids might enjoy a trip to the waterpark with its exciting chutes and slides. Overall a perfect place to visit for those who want a resort set amongst natural beauty but bristling with enough attractions to keep everyone busy.

offers a relaxed pace of life and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere making it a fantastic choice for couples and families. The resort is set against pine-filled woods and attractive countryside. Its lovely sandy beach however is the resort's main attraction, the sand is powdery and white, and shelves gently into the warm sea, providing excellent swimming conditions. This combined with the brilliant water sports facilities and a welcoming beach bar for those much-needed refreshments makes it popular with both British and Spanish holidaymakers. Santo Tomas is all about sun, sea and sand.

makes a great spot for families seeking a low-key, safe and friendly beach get away. It's a peaceful place on Menorca's south-west coast. Over the past decade or so the resort has been gently accommodating new clusters of villas and shops as last minute holidays to Son Bou increase in popularity but, even today, you could never call Son Sou a particularly big or busy place: despite the good range of restuarants and even a disco (still relatively rare in Menorca) package holidays in Son Bou are unhurried, relaxed and free of any unncecessary distractions. Families and couples come to Son Bou to enjoy the uncrowded beaches , range of watersports and it's many bars.

The village that thinks it's a town, Es Castell feels awfully grand for what is, essentially, a small coastal hamlet - the most Easterly village in the Kingdom of Spain. It has the British to thank for its ruler straight avenue and its grand public buildings. It's earlier name, Georgetown, hints at the time when, during the British occupation, the town was named after King George III. The town's history is strongly reflected in its architecture and you'll enjoy a day or two wandering its quiet streets. The main square, Placa de S"Esplanada, is formerly the parade ground! Georgian buildings and an elegant British clock tower, town hall and military barracks-turned museum will keep the history buff happy

a well presented resort that overlooks a splendid beach. Holidays in Punta Prima mean long, lazy days on the beach, around which most activities revolve. One of the first to be awarded the EU Blue Flag for cleanliness and quality, the beach at Punta Prima is sandy, with a cluster of rocks at the eastern end. The white sand gently shelves into the warm shallow waters, creating excellent conditions for swimming and snorkelling. And the warm, gentle winds make it suitable to have a try at windsurfing. In addition to the beach, Punta Prima holidays also offer mini golf, tennis, coastal walks and bike rides. Basically everything you would look for in a beach holiday. As one of the oldest holiday destinations in Menorca
, Punta Prima is accustomed to the needs of its holidaymakers - you'll find beach bars, souvenir shops and cafés - but it still manages to retain its traditional charm and laid back atmosphere.
