The Tiran Island Hotel has its own private beach featuring relaxation facilities. Other exciting hotel facilities include a multi purpose court, an expert dive centre (at the Melia Sinai) and extensive water sports activities. Views from the resort's balconies extend all the way to the nearby Tiran Island, while the well known dive site of Ras Nasrani is literally metres away from the hotel's beach.

Please note that a visitor’s visa may be required if you travel outside the Sinai desert and if you go diving or sightseeing outside Sharm El Sheikh. The visa will cost 10 GBP.

Eating And Drinking

The hotel’s main buffet restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves international cuisine and themed buffets. There is a relaxing lounge bar in the hotel lobby leading to the pool terraces and a pool bar that overlooks the beach and serves refreshments. The Al Bahr Beach Restaurant is an a la carte venue open throughout the day whilst the Oasis Bar Grill is a snack bar and grill overlooking the pool terrace which is perfect for snacks and light lunches. The Piazza Oriental Cafe offers teas and coffees and the House of Curry serves Indian cuisine in an authentically decorated restaurant.

The all inclusive package at the Tiran Island Hotel offers breakfast from 7am to 10am, lunch from 12.30pm to 3pm and dinner between 7pm and 10pm, all served buffet style in the main restaurant. A la carte dining is also available in the Indian restaurant from 7pm to 11pm. Snacks and ice cream are served at the pool bar from 4pm to 5pm daily and refreshments are available at the cafe from 11am to 1am, at the beach bar and pool bar from 11am to 6pm, and at the lobby bar 24 hours a day. The AI option covers all locally produced alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.
