Overview

For a beach based holiday in Egypt, the Hauza Beach Hotel in Nabq Bay is a popular choice. Not only is there a 400 metre section of private beach and a superb coral reef where you can snorkel until your heart’s content but also superb views out over the Red Sea towards the nearby Tirana Island.

The Hauza Beach Hotel’s 505 guestrooms are spacious and comfortable, but you probably won’t spend much time in your room when the hotel has so many things to do. Hauza Beach guests are kept busy with a dive centre, tennis, football and volleyball courts, a climbing wall, mini golf, horse and camel riding, a shopping mall, a kids club and playgrounds. If relaxing on a lounger with the sand between your toes, or beside an inviting swimming pool on a spacious terrace, is more your sort of thing then the Hauza Beach Hotel can offer that as well!

The hotel has a large relaxation pool divided into two sections for adults and children. There is also a large aqua fun pool divided into five sections with waterfalls.

Please note that a visitor's visa may be required if you travel outside the Sinai desert and if you go diving or sightseeing outside Sharm El Sheikh. The visa will cost 10 GBP.

Eating And Drinking

The hotel has four restaurants and four bars. The Main Restaurant offers International cuisine with live cooking, and serves a daily breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet, the Tirana Restaurant serves a la carte and a set menu although reservation is required. The new Al-Jazeerah Restaurant offers Indian and Far Eastern cuisine for lunch and dinner, also a la carte and a set menu, again with reservation. Finally there is an Italian Pizzeria where you can enjoy pizza on the beach cafe between 10am and 5pm. The four bars include a beach bar and a pool bar.

The hotel operates an All Inclusive option which includes breakfast in the main restaurant from 6.30am to 10am, lunch in the main restaurant from 12.30pm to 2.30pm including soft drinks, wine, beer and mineral water, dinner in the main restaurant between 6.30pm and 10pm in winter and 7pm to 10pm in summer, buffet style with soft drinks, wine, beer and mineral water. Morning snacks/late breakfast available from pool area from 10am to midday including croissants, Danish, American coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cordial drinks, light snacks available between midday and 2pm where you can make your own sandwiches or make your own pizza at the pizzeria from 11am to sunset at the beach bar. A late lunch buffet is served at the pool area from 2pm to 5pm with a choice during the week of french fries, burgers, spaghetti, hot dogs, rice, chicken wings, calamari, fish fingers, Egyptian tagin (stew) and charcoal grill. Coffee, hot chocolate, cake, cookies and biscuits available at the pool area from 5pm to 7pm and midnight snacks at the pool area from midnight until 1am serving spaghetti, one kind of soup, bread, butter and two kinds of salad. The AI drinks programme includes the Beach Bar which is open daily from 10am till sunset serving soft drinks from dispensers and by glass, cordial drinks, hot drinks such as tea, American coffee , mint, anis, local beer and wine both served by glass, local alcoholic drinks and alcoholic cocktails and 1 non alcoholic cocktail plus two fresh cocktails. The Pool Bar is open 24 hours a day serving soft drinks like Pepsi, Miranda, 7-up, soda, light soft drinks and mineral water from dispensers and served by glass, cordial drinks, hot drinks like tea, American coffee, mint, anis, local alcoholic drinks and seasonally fresh juices. The Hauza Lobby bar open between 10am and midnight serving soft drinks from dispensers and by the glass, cordial drinks, hot drinks like tea, American coffee, mint, anis and local alcoholic drinks.
